Who is this freak?

Once a strong career-minded business graduate from Nanyang Business School, Singapore, who longed for a fast-paced job in a foreign consulting firm. Had a chance to taste European education in Copenhagen Business School prior to starting a job.

Now that she has seen the light, decided to make a swift breakthrough becoming an academic. Has recently graduated from Master’s of Arts program in Sophia University, Tokyo, Japan. Has secured many prestigious scholarship and awards since then.

Developed one-sided love with global human rights issues. Has represented Amnesty International as a delegate in Harvard National Model United Nations 2011 in Boston, MA, USA.

Currently a Ph.D. candidate in Economics of Development at the University of Tokyo, Japan. Research interest to include the less-developed countries endeavor to pursue pro-poor growth, democracy and the issue of economic development (particularly infrastructure and foreign direct investment), social entrepreneurship, NGOs and the likes of Grameen Bank, the progress of Milennium Development Goals to eradicate the phantom of  global poverty and the long-rooted development problems (corruption and public resource allocation problem, and so on).

The above is written in purpose in case the writer suffers short-term memory loss of what kind of research she has currently been doing, so it is not a mere babbling.

An avid backpacker who had conquered Europe, some part of Asia, a small part of America. Dreaming of becoming a long term volunteer in Africa and the less developed Latin American countries.

A European intellectual history enthusiast, and passionate reader.

Heart Japanese pop culture, the world’s ancient culture and anything in between.

Has recently suffered symptoms of extremely high bipolar disorder and manic depression.

And lastly, behold, she’s gonna take over the world…..
